Welcome to our Monday and Wednesday evening rides.
The Carrollton Cycling Club formed anagreement with Irving Bible Church (IBC) to use their parking
lot as a starting point for our weekly rides. Irving Bible Church would allow us to use their parking lot and restroom facilities. In return they requested the following:
Parking is only allowed in the lower parking lot. Please do not to park vehicles west of the lower hedge line. Parking in the upper lots has become an increasing problem. It may not make sense to you for us to park close together with all the open
space in other lots, but please help us out and conform to the IBC agreement. We were asked to
leave our last parking site, because many would not adhere to that agreement. Please help us keep a great relationship with Irving Bible Church.
Please leave restroom facilities in the same condition you found them. Place paper towels in trash receptacles. Leave countertops clear of trash. If you have not joined the club, you are riding from this location as our guests. As such, we ask that
you also follow the simple guidelines as they were given to us. About our weekly rides:
CCC is a small organization. We enjoy riding our bikes for the fitness and fellowship of our members. We ride on municipal streets and share the roads in this area with commuting motorists. One of our
ride groups was recently stopped by the Irving Police Department (IPD). The group was asked to
either ride single file or in a two-up pace line. This is the secondseason we have been asked by
IPD to be more courteous on the road.
